I’m Arturo, a documentary photographer dedicated to capturing the profound impact of medical outreach programs. Through compelling photography and videography, I help organizations showcase their life-changing work, from surgical missions to community health initiatives.
With over a decade of experience in photography—including portraiture, photojournalism, and commercial work—I specialize in visually telling the stories of medical teams, patients, and the communities they serve. My images highlight the dedication of healthcare professionals and the resilience of those receiving care, providing organizations with powerful content to attract donors and expand their mission.
Fluent in English and Spanish, I also offer translation services, ensuring smooth communication between medical teams and local communities. Based in Antigua, Guatemala, I’ve worked with international medical organizations to document their efforts in underserved regions.

Photographer & Videographer
Svenja Bruder - I’m a German photographer, videographer, and storyteller, living in Guatemala for 5 years. My journey has always been shaped by a deep commitment to making a difference and capturing the beauty in meaningful work.
With a background as an educator and experience working as a global medical courier, I’ve gained a unique perspective on the importance of connection, service, and exploration. Alongside my creative work, I’m completing a Master’s in Educational Sciences, further informing my storytelling approach.
I enjoy working with people, especially capturing their energy and emotions in action. Through my lens, I aim to create visuals that inspire connection and tell important stories. Whether through photos, videos, or my travel blog Wild & Free Travel Diary, my goal is to share the magic of storytelling.
